  1. Put the apples, sugar, and water in a saucepan over medium heat and bring to a boil
  2. Turn the heat down low, cover, and simmer for 8 minutes
  3. Drain off any excess water, then mash wit ha fork for a chunkier puree or blend for a smoother puree.
